About
My name is Martin Webster and I am Systems Support Manager at Leicestershire County Council. I run the applications support teams that manage the corporate information systems and Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.
My professional interests include project and programme management, business administration, and Strategic Information Systems Planning (SISP.) I’m a chartered member of the British Computer Society and a registered mentor with the Institution of Engineering and Technology. To find out more about me visit my LinkedIn profile.
I spend my leisure time learning, collecting and listening to music, and being the proud parent of teenage twins. Other interests include watercolour and acrylic painting. I have a 2-year old Golden Retriever.
I use this blog to document changes to my Ubuntu laptop (HP Compaq nx6125), occasional projects (SqueezeCenter on Buffalo LinkStation Live, for example), and other ramblings. Well, anything that takes my interest really. But take note, this is a personal blog and the views expressed here are entirely my own.
